The composer of the work is likely Christoph Förster (1693 - 1745). Förster, a native of Thuringia in Bibra got in Weissenfels lessons from Johann David Heinichen and worked at the local court orchestra musician and concertmaster. In 1719 he visited Heinichen in Dresden, 1723, he attended the royal coronation in Prague. This resulted in numerous contacts with the Dresden and Vienna Court. 1743, he was Vice-Kapellmeister in Rudolstadt, but already died there on 05/12/1745. The present edition is based on the transcript of Lund (SL / Saml.Wenster J :1-17). In the SLUB Dresden under the signature Mus. 2323-O-4 kept a second copy of this show. You can boast minor differences in the score.
