The main purpose of this volume is to provide guitar students with a wide selection of pieces. The progression builds on the student's technical ability and musical knowledge
(rhythm, phrasing,...), and offers a first stylistic approach of the repertoire. Our selection includes works by famous 19 th century guitar masters as well as pieces for
the baroque guitare, lute or vihuela repertoire. Transcriptions for one or two guitars are intended to widen the students’ musical horizon.
We have added a few markings nuances, phrasing, articulation whenever needed for better understanding. Suggested fingerings (including repeats in the left hand are only meant to serve a musical purpose.
