George Harrison's Here Comes the Sun was first released on the Beatles' 1969 Abbey Road album. Sylvia Woods has created three 4-page solo harp arrangements of this song, all included in one piece of sheet music.
A. The arrangement for lever harps tuned to the key of C is in the key of A major (3 sharps). There are numerous C, D, and G lever changes throughout the piece, and some of them are very quick. The lowest note in this arrangement is E, almost 2 octaves below middle C. The highest note is a G, 24 strings higher. If you have a 26-string harp with a C as the bottom note, you can play the entire piece an octave higher than written.
B. The arrangement for lever harps tuned to 1, 2 or 3 flats is in the key of G major (1 sharp). There are numerous B, C, and F lever changes throughout the piece, and some of them are very quick. The lowest note in this arrangement is D, almost 2 octaves below middle C. The highest note is an F, 24 strings higher. If you have a 26-string harp with a C as the bottom note, you can play the entire piece an octave higher than written.
C. The arrangement for pedal harps is in the key of A major. There are 21 pedal changes.
The arrangements are for intermediate harp players, due to the very quick lever changes. Lyrics, fingerings, and chord symbols are included. A total of 12 pages of music: 4 for each version.
You get both the full 6-page version, and the shorter two-page version in this same piece of sheet music!
