Magical Moments is an attractive book for the violinist who is already familiar with the first position. However, in some pieces it makes a start with the third position as well - alternative small notes have been added in these cases, to make the melody also entirely playable in the first position. The pieces in which the third position does not occur hold another challenge, for example in the rhythm or the key. This book contains twenty wonderfully diverse pieces. Expression is essential - it is all about feeling and conveying the 'spirit' of the music. The fantastic Cd has been recorded live.
