The composer took inspiration from various homeopathic remedies and above all from their prescriptions, to imagine music in harmony with these ills that we must treat.
Of course, this is not to be taken seriously, especially from a medical point of view! But there is this about homeopathy that is familiar for a musician: it fights evil with evil – music having this power that is, in a way, just as complex and mysterious...
So, for the composer, this was a perfect, highly stimulating starting point for proposing a homogeneous, original collection whose sole ambition would, in the final analysis, be to give pleasure to the clarinettist.
