Composed in nine parts and scored for SSAT soli, SATB chorus, strings and continuo, Vivaldi’s Magnificat, RV 610, is exceptionally moving, fundamental and profound. Among the work’s special moments is the "Deposuit potentes”, where the chorus is brought together in unison: a true challenge, but it’s absolutely essential to have perfect intonation here!

The Carus Choir Coach offers choir singers the unique opportunity to study and learn their own, individual choral parts within the context of the sound of the entire choir and orchestra. For every vocal range a separate CD containing each choir part is available. The CD is based on recorded interpretations by renowned artists who have performed the work from carefully prepared Carus Urtext editions. Each choir part is presented in three different versions:

• Original recording
• Coach: each part is accompanied by the piano, with the original recording sounding in the background
• Coach in slow mode: the tempo of the coach slows down to 70% of the original version – through this reduction passages can be learned more effectively.

Besonders bewegend, tragend und tiefsinnig ist Vivaldis Magnificat RV 610, aus neun Teilen bestehend und für die Besetzung SSAT Soli, SATB Chor, Streicher und Bc komponiert. Eine Besonderheit stellt das "Deposuit potentes" dar, in dem der Chor unisono geführt wird: eine wahre Herausforderung, ist hier doch eine absolut reine Intonation erforderlich!

Für jede Stimmlage ist eine separate CD mit allen Chorteilen erhältlich. Der CD liegen Einspielungen renommierter Interpreten zugrunde, die aus der sorgfältig aufbereiteten Carus Urtext-Ausgabe musiziert haben. Die Chorsätze liegen in drei Varianten vor:

• Originaleinspielung
• Coach: jeweilige Stimme wird auf dem Klavier mitgespielt, Originaleinspielung im Hintergrund
• Coach in Slow Mode: durch Temporeduzierung des Coach auf 70% des Originals können komplizierte Partien effektiv geübt werden.
